Klarna Launches with Fireplace Factory!

We are proud to offer Klarna as a payment! This great news is that all of our fireplaces, electric fires and marble suites qualify for payment through Klarna.

But what is Klarna?

Klarna is a service provided to you that gives you options on how you would like to pay for your goods, here at Fireplace Factory. Instead of the typical finance options from some retailers, with exorbitant APRs, Klarna is a breath of fresh air. With the options to spread your cost by up to 24 months, the interest rate for Klarna is 0% APR. Remember catalogues? And in-store cards? 19.9% APR if you were lucky, with some charging 39.9% or even more! Klarna is the new way to finance your shopping, without it costing the Earth.

What are my options to pay with Klarna?

You have two options when paying with Klarna. The signature ‘Pay in 3’ option or you have the option to take the goods on finance. The options available to the customer will be based on their credit check results and the cost of the goods being purchased.

Pay in 3

The first option, and the one that Klarna are best known for is the Pay in 3 option – this allows you to split the total cost of the order into 3 monthly payments. There is no additional charge for this service, and so it helps to make our products even more affordable. Your first payment is made at the point of purchase, and the remaining payments are scheduled automatically every 30 days, for two payments.

At the checkout, select Klarna as your payment method and select ‘Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments of £…’ – to check your eligibility, Klarna will run a soft credit search. This will not affect your credit, regardless of outcome.

When we confirm the order is processed and on its way, you will be charged for the first instalment. You will receive a confirmation notice when this happens.

Then Klarna will automatically charge your card 30 days later, and then 30 days after that you will be charged the final payment. We will always make sure you are notified ahead of these charges being made. There is no interest and there are no fees for this service, you pay exactly the same price as if you were paying in full on your card or by bank transfer.

Fireplace Factory are offering the Pay in 3 Klarna finance option for all purchases under £1,000.

Spread your payments with Klarna

For purchases over £1,000, you can spread the payments over a longer term than 3 months. We are thrilled to offer our customers the flexibility to spread your payments over 6, 12 or 24 months! All that is required is a 10% deposit.

Here is an example of this working in the real world:

1250 HD+ Panoramic Grey Fireplace

You decide on the superb Bespoke Panoramic 1250 HD+ electric fire, currently priced at £1,699.00 and upon adding it to your basket you proceed to the checkout.

Then you select the ‘Pay in instalments’ option:

Klarna Finance Examples

As you can see, there is still no interest charged for this financing! 0% APR when you pay for this fire over 6 or 12 months. If you were to take the 6 month option, you would pay a 10% deposit on the day of purchase. This would be followed by 6 monthly payments of £254.85.

The 12 month option would again see a deposit of 10% on the day of purchase. Followed by 12 monthly payments, of £127.37. Both options costing no more than buying outright would.

So, we are glad to be able to offer this convenient, interest-free finance option to our customers. If you have any questions, please call us and our team of expert advisors will be more than happy to help you, and answer any questions you have.

Shopping with Klarna is similar to any other financing arrangement. There will be a credit check at the point of purchase, and this will determine whether customers qualify for the finance. It will also set a credit limit for you. So providing the amount of finance is below this, it will be accepted.

By purchasing using the Klarna financing facility, you agree to their terms and conditions in addition to ours. Among other things this makes it clear that the credit check may affect your credit score. It also clarifies that failure to keep up your payments will also result in your credit scored being affected.

Our team are looking forward to hearing from you!
